Well, we had the makings of a great weekend of fun. It started with Brodie's granny and grandpa Robert coming for a visit. We had a blast playing with the new bike that they bought him. We played in the backyard and went out to dinner. This is when it all went awry. Mr. Brodie started feeling bad and has been sick all weekend. Our child has taught us that sometimes our best laid plans are not going to happen. We have pretty much been on fever reducing medicine, cool baths, and dirty diaper duty for two days now. He is not too sick for a cheeto though. I couldn't think of anything I would rather do on Mother's Day than to hang out with my boys. I just wish my little one was feeling better.
